Dear Residents,

We hope that you haven't been suffering too much with the heat this week and we thank all those residents that came to our meeting yesterday evening in the sweltering climate. We would like to give you a quick update - following on from yesterday's meeting regarding the potential Mushroom site development.

 

Bellway Homes will be looking to submit a new/revised application to Horsham District Council to replace the current one along with all of the legal conditions concerning the proposed management of the site and housing numbers and green spaces schemes. Our current position to Strongly Object to the current application still stands whilst we await the revised application. They shall be meeting with HDC in the next fortnight to discuss the best approach within the planning process.

 

Horsham District Planners have confirmed to TPC that there will be no Committee meeting in the next few weeks with which to review the current/new application and that TPC is welcome to submit comments through the planning process after the pending new application has had the full review and scrutiny by residents, Councillors and other stakeholders as per normal Planning procedures. Should for any reason, no further application comes forward - we will lodge comments to Strongly Object prior to the committee meeting - of which we will be given full notice by HDC.
