In January 2025 some of Roger Taylor's family joined our work party and they planted an old Sussex apple tree, Sussex Forge, in his memory.
Very fitting as Roger was Chair of Thakeham First School Governors when the school was in Bramble Lane and used the Glebe Field as their playing field. Roger was also a long -standing member of the Parish Council and Chair of the Planning Committee.
